This pair of flasks decorated with Islamic ornament was designed for the London house of the English aesthete, scholar, and collector, Alfred Morrison. The flasks were made by French glass manufacturer Philippe-Joseph Brocard in 1872. The design incorporates Morrison's entwined initials "AM." Purchased with the Glass Deaccession Fund and Putnam Dana McMillan Fund, the flasks are now on view in Gallery 306.
