Physical Description: 7 of the 8 postcards in Fat Shine on Iron [acc. # 92.344.1-.7] show details of the object "Plastic Foot-Elastic Foot" as its fat component melted during installation at the Centre Beaubourg Paris when defective central heating system stuck at 60 degrees. One postcard [acc. # 92.344.8] shows the "culture bomb" from Beuys's monument "Tram Stop" in the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, 1976. Photos: Caroline Tisdall.
