It is often said that on the Internet, you can be anybody. C5's 16 Sessions project takes the opposite tack. Using data gathered from Joel Slayton's interactive installation Not to See a Thing, C5 allows the user to "mingle" his or her identity (in this case a network address) with numerical 3-D data to generate the URLs of random -- but particular to the user -- Web sites, thereby mapping a new set of potential relations between the user and the so-called geography of cyberspace.
