Embroidered Mirror Frame: Gallery Label - Current
Raised work embroidery was very popular during the middle of the 17th century. This mirror surround was created in the 18th century from a number of fragments, including a box lid which is now the top, center element of this frame. A complete box of this style is on view in gallery 310.
