This image depicts a kiln for clay roof tiles.
There were many pottery kilns around this area until the early part of the last century. In addition to roof tiles, they made all sorts of ceramics including pots, dolls, cups, and inexpensive earthenware for daily use.
In this print, on the far left, you can see the rectangular tiles being dried on the stand next to the kiln.
