Inscribed bottom center in pen and brown ink: "Orphaeus"; bottom left in pen and brown ink; a heptagon with the sides numbered, within a square with the words "septangano" (?) written over it; across the top in pen and in the same brown ink a fragmentary paragraph: Caliope tuono il numero Sette... ario, hebbe p della lyra la quale Hesedito (?) da lyno, et -- fiere et gli arbori et i sassi et gli ucelli --" [R.J.
