This coffin is fit for a king. Well in this case, a Prince. The elegant carvings on the side show many things. I wonder what they are. The stone makes it seem erie though.

When I first saw this piece I thought it looked rather like a big brick. But when I saw it's elegant carvings, I realized it was a tomb for a prince and its important stage in traditional Chinese art.

You have to look closely to see the amazing carvings all over the sarcophagus. It looks like the carvings are painted on to the coffin rather than carved.
