This Set will familiarize students with a variety of contemporary women artists, feminist issues within contemporary art, and the position of women in the art world since 1945.

Students will respond to the collected works by answering the questions and recording their thoughts and opinions for use in classroom discussion.

Objectives:

-Students will be exposed to female artists and the issues surrounding women's involvement in the arts.

-Students will begin thinking about these issues, exploring the history and symbolism of these subjects, and prepare their own thoughts for discussion.
