What Composition Elements and Principles have the artist used in the following artworks that provide the viewer with a feeling of "family".  Why do you think the artist used these specific Composition Elements and Principles to define their "family" image?

Elements of Design: Space, Line, Shape, Form, Value, Color, Texture.

Principles of Design: Balance, Repetition, Rhythm, Contrast, Movement, Emphasis, Unity

Students will analyze each image and document their findings in their notebooks.  Students will use complete sentences and paragraph form.

Students will exchange their findings with each other in small sharing groups.
