The artwork I have chosen to respond to is "Gale." by [Arthur Dove]
I have chosen this work because Arthur Dove was one of the first to do absract art. He enjoyed doing nature scenes, but he always wanted to do something more. He wanted to add a deeper sense of feeling to his art. He wanted to set a mood that would leave an image in someones head. With Gale he left an impression that inspired me to try doing the same by making a picture that will stick with a person.

I have chosen to respond to this work by redoing his picture even though I knew I could never. To do this I watercolored as close to the original as I could, but with a few differances.
