I play the Violin, Oboe, and Piano. I like to sketch animals, and write stories.
The artwork I have chosen to respond to is called "Through Birds, through Fire, but not through Glass" by Yves Tanguy
I have chosen this work because it expreses feeling, and showes that you can take anything and put it in a pattern ar just jumble it up in a pile and make it look beautiful. And it also showes that you can make people FEEL something, and not just look at it and say, "That's nice, a painting."
I have chosen to respond to this work by taking the painting and jumbling it around to make everyday things, including flowers, a clock, a rabbit, etc. and writing a poem about it to make you think about the piece and LOOK at the pictures scattered around.
