A room for ceremonies

Your family uses this room only on important occasions. You all gather here, for example, to honor your ancestors on their birthdays and other important days. You share your home with your grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. The ancestors made all those lives possible! Other times, your grandfather leads the family in prayers here. He is old and very wise. You and your cousins listen to whatever he says. You know well that Confucius taught, "To respect parents and elders is the root of humanity."
