For Mac users-
Mac OS version 7.1 or higher
16MB of RAM for PowerPC-based Mac OS computers
8MB of RAM for 68K-based Mac computers
68K-based Mac computers must also support Color QuickDraw, which came
standard with 68040 computers and above. Check your system configurations
for further details.
For PC users-
Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
Any 486DX-based computer at 66Mhz or faster or any Pentium-based computer
16MB RAM
A Sound Blaster compatible card
1. First, make some
room on your screen by resizing this window to be as small as possible,
while leaving enough room to read the instructions. Alternatively, you
may want to print out these on-screen instructions before you begin
the downloading process. You can refer to them while the download is
in process.
2. Launch the QuickTime
browser window by clicking on QuickTime. QuickTime can be downloaded
from Apple's Web site at www.apple.com/quicktime/download/index.html.
3. Resize the QuickTime
browser window so it fits along side of this window.
4. Fill in the registration
information. (Don't worry, itŐs FREE!.) Then select your platform type,
click the Download button, and follow these instructions: _ If you're
on a Windows-based machine, select that option. Sit back and wait until
it downloads, and then follow the simple instructions. _ If you have
a Mac, click on that option. Sit back and wait until it downloads.
5. Once it has finished
downloading, you can close the QuickTime browser window and click on
the QuickTime Installer and then follow the simple instructions.
6. Depending upon
your computer, you may have to restart your computer after you install
Quicktime in order for it to work properly.
