Frank Lloyd Wright Hallway

The doorway at the end of the hallway led to a bedroom.

Where was this hallway in the house?

This hallway ran along the lakeside of the house to a bedroom. Imagine coming out of your bedroom into this hallway. To see where you would be on the floor plan, click here. A few windows are open on a clear summer day. You are sitting here in the warm sunshine with a cool breeze blowing across your face. What sounds might you hear?

The architect who designed the house believed there should be a strong connection between a building and its natural surroundings. The many windows in this house make you feel connected to nature even when you are inside the house.
