The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

What is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly? It is a functional sculpture in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden made up of two sections: a "fixed" unit and a "movable" unit. You could compare the sections to a house and a car. The first section looks like a wooden house. The second section, the car, can be moved to neighborhoods throughout the city. The two sections can be joined, but they can also stand apart. Can you find the two connecting parts of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? The Walker Art Center commissioned Dutch artist Joep van Lieshout (yoop van-LEE-shout), and his studio workshop, called Atelier (a-til-e-ay) van Lieshout, to create The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Mobile Unit will travel throughout the city. Van Lieshout thinks it is a good idea to take the 50-foot-long trailer unit out into the neighborhoods.
