The University of Minnesota The Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum is a department of the University of Minnesota. It is located at 333 E. River Road, Minneapolis, MN 55455. It is on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis campus. It is adjacent to Coffman Memorial Union and the Washington Ave. Bridge. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The museum is closed on Mondays. For general information, call (612) 625-9494. Admission is free. For more information about guided tours or reservations for groups of 15 or more, please call (612) 625-9656. Tour reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance of the tour date. Public tours are Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. Visit their web site at http://hudson.acad.umn.edu. Harvest is located next to the Weisman Art Museum, on the east side of the building. It will remain standing through the summer of 1999.
