The Designing Spaces and Places Tour


The Minneapolis Institute of Art

The Wu Family Reception Hall, Duluth Living Room, and Frank Lloyd Wright Hallway are all permanently installed in the galleries at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is located at 2400 Third Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55404.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. The museum is closed Mondays.

Admission to the museum, excluding special exhibitions, is free.

The Purcell-Cutts House is located at 2328 Lake Place near Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. It is open to the public the second weekend of each month. Admission is $5 for adults; $4 for students and seniors; and free for Minneapolis Institute of Arts members and children age 12 and under. Reservations are required; call (612) 870-3131. School tours can be arranged for weekdays for an additional charge.
