Sculpture entitled "What is a Goose Chase at Dinner?"

Many parts of my life are based on art. Since I was young, art has fascinated me and art lessons at school were a highlight of my day. At the Blake School I have had an opportunity to do more than learn about art, I have been given the chance to make art. Like many other art projects, this sculpture is based on my pet cat. I believe that a part of art is to challenge yourself into making something ordinary into something big. This project has given me a chance to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Art is not only sculptures and paintings, it is how you lood at yourself. Many art pieces show you what the artist was like. As I said before, art is a challenge. In "What is a Goose Chase like at Dinner?" I reflected a part of my life, which is how my mom always chases my cat around at dinner. My sculpture shows a part of me, and so a good artist must know how to convey their message through art. Through this sculpture, I shared to all who see my sculpture something about me. |
