On Saturday, Nov. 13th during the regional meetings at the Fall Conference of AEM, Judy Brokemeier and I visited with Barbara Bridges about a collaborative, on-line art project involving an artist from ArtsNet Minnesota and kids from out-state Minnesota. It sounded like a very exciting, challenging and fun endeavor! We decided to look through the web site and choose artists who we thought we would like to learn more about!
January 12th, 2000:
In January Barbara notified us that Ernest Whiteman was really interested in working with the project. I felt the excitement building in interest our e-mail as we anticipated working with Mr. Whiteman. Judy had met him before and spoke highly of his work! Carol Olson from Cotton, MN joined the group and we all started researching ArtsNet Minnesota to get information about Ernest Whiteman and ancient Native American rock art.
